A Little More About Me

Hi, I’m Tannia. Human & Therapist

Hi, I’m Tannia Montero, a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California specializing in anxiety therapy and psychological immigration evaluations. I support individuals who feel overwhelmed by worry, overthinking, or major life transitions, helping them gain clarity, emotional balance, and practical tools they can use in everyday life.

My approach blends clinical training with genuine human connection. Beyond symptom relief, I focus on helping you understand how your nervous system and thought patterns work so you can move forward with more confidence and direction. Whether you’re seeking therapy or documentation for an immigration case, my goal is for you to feel respected, supported, and truly understood.

A Peek Into My Life & Passions

Outside of my work as a therapist, you’ll usually find me with a cup of coffee in hand wherever I go. I genuinely enjoy building wooden coffee tables from scratch, brainstorming my next creative idea, and randomly singing one-liners of songs I probably don’t know the full lyrics to.

I’m also a fan of reality TV shows and you can often catch me watching Studio McGee on YouTube or Netflix, I like to think I’m secretly an interior designer lol (I wish lol)

I love anything that lets me tap into creativity, whether it’s designing a space, planning a new idea, or bringing a project to life.

I’m human first, therapist second and I bring that same authenticity and warmth into the work I do with the people I serve.

My Journey in This Work

My path into this work began with witnessing how powerful it is when someone finally feels heard without judgment. Those moments shaped my passion for helping people navigate anxiety and life’s most overwhelming seasons with clarity and support.

Over time, continued training and clinical experience strengthened my skills, while I also developed a deep commitment to providing thoughtful, culturally responsive immigration evaluations that honor each person’s story.

What started as a personal calling eventually led me to open my own private practice. Today, I have the privilege of working alongside an incredible team of Latina therapists, creating a space that values culture, language, and genuine connection.
