When conducting immigration mental health evaluations, I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where individuals can share difficult and deeply personal experiences related to their immigration journeys. I understand that these stories are often layered with fear, loss, trauma, and uncertainty, and I approach each evaluation with care and sensitivity.

Immigration evaluations are not therapy and are completed for legal and evaluative purposes. With appropriate authorization, information gathered during the evaluation may be included in a written report and shared with immigration attorneys or legal representatives.
